It's official!
I was starting to feel very stifled over at Etsy, and was definitely tired of paying listing fees, and commission to them. Etsy is great, but I want to start to go off on my own now.
I'm a little bit worried, as the new website now resides at my www.releasemecreations.com address, where this blog used to live. I'm hoping my readers will be able to navigate back here.

But I'm super happy with the end results.
I used SupaDupa, and it was very easy.
I initially bought hosting from GoDaddy, and downloaded ZenCart. I figured I'd be able to watch tutorials and figure it out...Um, yeah...that didn't work. I was so lost! I immediately called GoDaddy and they refunded my money.
Next, I went to SupaDupa and used the free version. I had been setting up shop there for awhile, but never fully got everything together. So I fixed it all up, and then pointed my releasemecreations.com address there.
One major pain was that I used the IMPORT FROM ETSY option. That was incredibly easy, what wasn't easy was going back in and changing all of the item titles and descriptions. If you have exact listing in more than one place on the web, Google won't pick them up in search.
But I finished up tonight, and I'm so relieved!
