Photography- Natural Light

So I have slowly been transitioning my photographs from using a lightbox to using natural light.  I still like some aspects of using the lightbox, but I do think I'm in favor of the natural light.  It does take much more editing when I use the natural light to get the pictures just right, but in the end I think it is worth it.
Maybe I can get away with having photos with both types of lighting?  
What do you think?
