Where Did Wednesday Go?

Well, Wednesday came and went, and I didn't get to post my DIY Wednesday.

Why, you say?

Well, I didn't quite finish it.  I could settle and say it is finished, but I'm not quite happy with it just yet. 

I decided to take on the DIY Mardis Gras Bead Chandelier Project that I saw on Dollar Store Crafts seen here:

Mine turned out similar to this, but I still want to add more beads, or else figure out how to add some fabric to fill in some of the gaps.

I had a few issues with the project, the first being that the Dollar Store where I live did not have any mardis gras beads...boo.  So, I had to go to Hobby Lobby.  Because I am a very impatient person, and I really wanted to do this project, I ate the extra $1 on the beads.  I still got 5-6 strands per package, so it wasn't so bad.

My other issue was with the spray painting.  I kept having to coat, and re-coat because I kept missing spots.  Grrrr.

Anyhoo, I'm still not done with it, but I'll post a so-far picture:
