I am very excited today to present to you a very talented and inspiring artist.
Her work is so incredibly unique and beautiful, that it seems to have the power to transport you to the farthest reaches of one's imagination.
She is the artist and curator of three beautiful and successful Etsy Shops.
My name is Yuliya, I cannot live without creating, drawing, or photography and I am deeply in love with summer :)
What got you started into painting and photography?
It began when I was born. My parents say I was born with a pencil in my hands: as long as I can remember I was always drawing, creating and inventing things.
What do you find most challenging about being an artist?
I am not sure, it is all such fun that I hardly can notice anything challenging... I would say the challenge is having to stop my art at the end of the day to go to bed. It is the hardest part of my day.
Tell us a little bit about the process of creating one of your paintings.
Ideas overflow my imagination, they just appear in my head and come again and again to remind me that they all need to be executed! :) I feel like a messenger of my imagination.
What do you do when you aren’t making incredible pieces of art?
The only time when I do not create is sleep time, though even then I get fantastic dreams, very colorful with magical animals. So probably you can say I create pretty much always :)
Do you have any advce for other artists who are thinking about opening a 2nd shop?
Absolutely: Just do it! If you have doubts, they will automatically disappear as soon as you have a second shop. Only by doing something you can learn which way is the best for you to go.
If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you want to be?
Main thing, I would want to be next to my loved one. It doesn't matter where that place is, as long as they are there. I lived in a couple of countries and places and figured out for myself that I am very flexible and not very attached to materialistic things.

What inspires you to create a piece?
Inspiration finds me everywhere I go. It can easily be a color, a smell, a word, thought, touch, smile, or even a movement. So many things! Sometimes I am not able to process all of the ideas I have in the daytime and they follow me in to sleep. The ideas come into my mind and live by themselves. I often wish I could have more hours a day and more hands... Or have a twin :)Tell us a little bit about the process of creating one of your paintings.

Yuliya is an extremely talented artist. I thoroughly enjoy looking at all her works of art. Very nice feature. (Galeaz Glass)
OK... I knew she IS amazing.... but I did learn about the photography and jewelry... and THREE shops today... Just goes to show you. I have 2 shops, and I find it to be fun, but a good deal more work. I am deciding that I am getting a real kick out of Yuliya's photography. But handmade jewelry is very nice too. What a skilled artist AND artisan~! Thanks for sharing.
