Fort Worth Child Feature: Academy Awards Necklaces

I finally got my hands on Fort Worth Child Magazine, and lo and behold, on page 18 I found my little Academy Awards Silhouette Necklaces!  The article was promoting the Cowtown Indie Bazaar, which happened on Saturday October 15th, and they mentioned me and my necklaces.
I was sad they didn't mention my connection to The Artisan Group as they are the only reason I have this amazing opportunity to bring my pieces to the celebrities at the Academy Awards, but I understand the magazine is limited to space and what they can include.
So here it is:
I'm super excited, and pretty darn proud of my little necklaces.

And I was also featured in my hometown newspaper!

Cowtown Indie Bazaar

So I had a successful setup today for tomorrow's Cowtown Indie Bazaar.
I have a completely new booth design. It is simpler, and more streamlined.   You can't quite get the perspective, But I'm happy with the result.  I could add walls, but don't really feel the need.

I was able to "dumpster dive" for the central display piece. My karate school neighbors with Game Stop, and they had it out by our dumpster. So I didn't literally need to dive into the dumpster, but I definitely swiped their trash. I then painted it white, blue, and gray and viola!  Three sides of spining display goodness!
I added some string lights to add some flair. I used umbrella stands for the wooden dowels to fit into for the front two stands. I found the dowels at Home Depot for fairly cheap. Cheap is the operative word for all elements of my setup. The easel you see in the first picture was made by my wonderful hubby and my father in-law. I just attached a piece of PVC pipe to it for the lights to hang from. And then in the table I drilled a hole for another PVC pole to fit into for the opposite side.
Here are a few shots of my things:
Hope to see you there tomorrow!
