Guess What Parks and Recreation Star is Receiving Jewelry from Release Me Creations

Release Me Creations is Sending  Jewelry to Actress and Comedienne Amy Poehler!
OhmanOhmanOhman!
Excited is an understatement.
Parks and Recreation star Amy Poehler is going to be receiving and hopefully rocking all around town some of my jewelry. I'm so ecstatic to have yet another opportunity to get my jewelry into the hands of someone who is not only famous, but beautiful and funny to boot!  I have The Artisan Group to thank, yet again, for this incredible opportunity.  I feel so blessed!

So what is she getting?
Well, this one was a bit of a challenge. I did a little Google Image search of her photos and realized that she is not much of a necklace wearer, but rather more of an earring girl. And her earrings tend to be a bit dangly, with a bit of bling which immediately made me thing of my petite Titanium Druzy teardrop stones. But I still wanted her to have a necklace from Release Me Creations.

So here is the final verdict:

These stones are so very pretty.  They are small too, each measuring approximately 1/2" x 1/4"
The earrings are post backs, and hang own about 1.5" from the ears.
The necklace has a single Titanium Druzy stone that is set upon a bright silver bail.  The chain is an 18" Sterling Silver with a lobster clasp closure.

So what do you guys think?  Do you think she'll love them?  I sure hope so!

Khloe Kardashian's Jewelry (And Lamar's Baubles) from Release Me Creations

Drumroll please...ladies and gentlemen here is Khloe's jewelry made exclusively for her by Release Me Creations!

I used one of my favorite stones, the faceted Titanium Druzy. The pendant is even more gorgeous in person as the colors fluctuate in the light. And the size is out of this world. It's about 2.5" in length about about 2" across at the widest point, so a true statement piece of jewelry, which I thought would be a good fit for her epic style. I hand soldered and framed it in fine silver. The earrings are two tiny druzy stones that I also framed in silver. They dangle about 2" from the ear. I hope she loves them. I designed them exclusively with her style in mind.

I am so very excited about having this opportunity to gift her this jewelry. I don't want to sound like a sappy fan, but I am truly a huge fan of Khloe's. I adore her shows, and her as a person. She says what she means when she means it and I love that. Mainly I admire her strength. I feel a connection to her with regards to both of us losing our fathers, men to whom we were both very close to. Her success as a business woman in the face of adversity motivates me to always keep on believing and working toward my goals. I just think she's a beautiful person. I have heard plenty of people speak badly of her, even to me when they heard I was gifting her, but for me this is such a special opportunity. I hope she adores her pieces!

And of course I could not leave Lamar out of the mix. I made him a set of cufflinks using two tiny Titanium Druzy stones. They will match Khloe's jewelry perfectly.

This amazing opportunity has once again been made possible by The Artisan Group. I don't know what I would do without them! The support I receive, and the amazing opportunities they provide, I am so endlessly thankful!

I hope Khloe and Lamar love everything!! I'll keep you posted with anything I hear. Odds are I will not not hear anything back, which is okay with me. Just having the opportunity has been absolutely amazing (but man, a thank you coffee date with Khloe would be hella amazing while she's still in Dallas!! A girl can dream right?)

Oh! And here is how I packaged up the star couple's new jewelry gifts.
The packaging has to stay small, so I used two small boxes that fit into a small peach organza bag. I used some pretty blue ribbon and tiny initial charms around each box.

  Have a fantastic Sunday everyone!!

Okay, I need to breathe.
I am such a huge fan of hers. I adore her shows, and admire how successful she is in her entrepreneurial endeavors. I also love how she says what she means, and is completely honest with everyone around her.
I was so excited when I learned she was coming to Dallas. Perhaps if she loves what I make for her she will want to meet up for coffee to buy some more.  Okay, fat chance...or more like no chance, but a girl can dream right?
Stay tuned...I already know what I'm making for her. I'll have pictures when it is finished!
And P.S. I would never have had this chance without The Artisan Group!  I am so blessed to be a part of such an amazing group of people!

DIY Gift Packaging for Tori Spelling

So I have declared this week DIY Gift Packaging week.
The Earth Day gifts, and Tori Spelling gifts are going out in the mail in the next couple of days, so gift packaging has been on the brain.
Yesterday I posted all about the Earth Day Gift Packaging...and now I bring you my packaging for Tori Spelling's jewelry!
I think that packaging is so important for a gift. It conveys a message, it sets a tone, and it creates excitement for the gift within all of the wrapping.
For Tori's gift, I wanted it to maintain a whimsical feel to it, with a bit of personalization and color.
I made my own necklace cards to hold the necklaces.
FRONT:                                                         BACK:

For a bit of cute personalization I found some Scrapbooking initial stickers that had some bling to them and added them to each of their necklace cards:
I then wrapped each one in some padding, and then fun colored tissue paper.  I found these cute little metal initial charms, and added them to some blue ribbon, wrapped them up and VOILA:

The back of each one looks like this, I used my sticker labels from my DIY Sticker Label post:
They all went into a simple white organza bag, I again used my sticker labels to create a little tag by pasting two together over some cardstock and there you have it!

Jewelry for Tori Spelling by Release Me Creations

SUPER EXCITING NEWS!
Do you see this beautiful lady?
Release Me Creations is making jewelry for her!
Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh!
I have been given the most incredible opportunity to create a necklace for none other than the amazingly gorgeous and uber-talented Tori Spelling.
And that's not all!
I'm also making two little necklaces for her beautiful daughters, Stella and Hattie.
Here are their necklaces, designed and created exclusively for them by Release Me Creations:

Tori's necklace is a gorgeous faceted Green Agate Gemstone that I hand soldered and framed in fine silver.  Her favorite color is Kelly Green, so I thought this would be perfect for her.  I added an extension chain with three green stones for a finishing touch.  Here are some more views of her necklace:

Stella's necklace consists of three beautiful light blue Fire Agate stones that have been wire wrapped along a silver wire.  There are natural hints of yellow within the stones giving them a gorgeous glow.  I added a 1" extension chain, with a single bead dangling from it for a finishing touch.

Hattie's necklace consists of three very small faceted Purple Fire Agate gemstones resting vertically along a silver wire.  This is a very sweet and petite necklace for a little girl.  I added an extension chain with a single gemstone so she can continue to wear this as she grows up.

This is yet another amazing opportunity that would never have been possible without The Artisan Group.  I am so thankful to be a part of such an amazing group of artists!
I am so excited for Tori to receive the necklaces.  I hope they all love them.  Tori has her own amazing jewelry line, so I feel a lot of pressure as she has an eye for good jewelry, and not to mention she has flawless style.  Oh I hope-I hope-I hope she loves them!
I'm now off to get these pretties all packaged up and ready to go into the mail.
Stay tuned for some packaging pics.
