Dallas Shine Event Pizzas!

Guess who has locked in pizzas for the volunteers at The Dallas Shine Event!
Oh I am so excited.  I was very nervous at the beginning of my mission to try to find restaurants and food vendors to donate food. I had never done anything like that before in asking people for donations for anything.  My worry was I would come up empty handed, but I gave it a shot and e-mailed Olivella's, a famous Dallas pizzeria.  The General Manager responded and was super friendly, and immediately wanted to help!
There are no words to describe how happy I was, and am!
This event is going to be AMAZING!

The Dallas SHINE Event!

I am so super excited about this!
The Shine Project is coming to Dallas, and I'm going to be helping!
It is truly an incredible project, and I am so honored and excited to be a part of it.

Ashley of The Shine Project Blog  is such an amazing person for bringing so much joy and light to the people who need it most. I cannot wait to work with her and the rest of The Shine Project volunteers!

Casey Wiegand of The Wiegand's Blog, an amazing artist, entrepreneur, blogger, and co-host of Shine Dallas is allowing us to create the blankets at her shop "A Little Artsy."  And Kim Sasse of The Sasse Life, a wicked awesome blog, is helping to run things locally with the food donations, which is what I'm helping with, so I'm super excited to work with her as well.  It's like having the project run by a star-studded cast of the blog world.

You can read all about The Shine Project HERE.

In the meantime, I'm off to contact some local restaurants for food donations.  I'll keep you posted on the goings-on.

If you are attending, be sure to RSVP!
